Garden Museum Celebrates British Flowers Week
Join us for the British Flowers Week Late, with live music, a paper flower making workshop, and an opportunity to see this year’s floral installations after hours.
Six of the country’s top florists – Arthur Parkinson, Leigh Chappell, Palais London, Rollo Skinner, Wild at Heart and Yeon Hee Lee – are creating installations designed to immerse you in the best in floral design. The sculptural flower installations will be made using seasonal, sustainably-sourced, British-grown flowers, arranged with environmentally friendly materials.
Enjoy a drink among the flowers and drop into a paper flower making workshop hosted by Leo Flowers. Tickets also include entry to our current exhibition Cecil Beaton’s Garden Party, which the designers took inspiration from when designing their installations.
The Late will include a panel talk with the floral designers discussing the inspirations and process behind their installations, their careers in flowers, how they approach seasonality and sustainability in floral design, and their hopes for the futures of the British flower growing and floristry industries: book tickets
