Buckinghamshire Gardens Trust’s mission is to record and conserve the gardens and parks of historic Buckinghamshire and to aid in the creation and restoration of gardens, parks and green spaces within the historic county.

What do you get?

We run an annual series of Talks at Bucks County Museum, Aylesbury.

We have a full programme of Events throughout the historic county, and beyond.

We have a conservation and planning group, which works closely with our partner organisation, the Gardens Trust, the Statutory Consultee.

We have a very active Research and Recording group studying all aspects of the county’s gardens.

You are encouraged to participate in all of these and take an active part in the Bucks Gardens Trust.

How to become a new member

1. Fill in Membership form

Fill in and submit the online membership form.

    2. Set up a direct debit payment

    Direct Debit via GoCardless is now our preferred payment method.

    Click the link below, which will take you to a simple GoCardless form. Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email.

    Membership runs from 1st April. We process payments on 15th April.
    New applications received after 1st November will remain valid for a year after the following 1st April.

    We use GoCardless which is a Direct Debit provider regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority.

    The signup process is simple and securely conducted online. Direct Debit via GoCardless is now our preferred payment method.

    What is a Direct Debit mandate?

    A mandate (also known as a “Direct Debit Instruction” or “Direct Debit Request”) is set up on a customer’s bank account when a Direct Debit is authorised for a specific merchant, usually via our online form. An active mandate needs to be in place before any Direct Debit payments can be collected.

    How do I cancel a Direct Debit?

    You can cancel a Direct Debit mandate in one of the following ways:
    directly with your bank, or via your online banking, or by contacting us and request cancellation: telephone 01844 345 230 or email

    Can you offer alternative payment methods?

    Yes, you can pay by cheque or standing order. However, we encourage you to sign up and pay online; please find printable documents below.
