Clare Butler and John O’Dwyer have been out in search for spring flowers in Evenley Wood and have found the elusive British wild daffodil but it is in Northants, just over the Buckinghamshire border.
Here are some of John’s photos from Evenley Wood. A lot of daffs not out yet but here are some Lent Lily (Narcissus lobularis the true British wild daffodil). Too early for bluebells but Evenley has this stream of dwarf scillas (see below) No cherry blossom yet. Later there will be magnolias, rhododendrons, roses, lilies and autumn colour.
