Members of the Buckinghamshire Gardens Trust met for the annual Christmas Lunch at The Crown, Granborough on Saturday 30th November including a number of founding members. After drinks and a delicious seasonal lunch, Claire de Carle the Chair, thanked the Committee and all those who had helped with various events this year.
The guest speaker Brian Dix, a founding member and International Archaelogist & Garden Historian, spoke about the importance of members being involved in the activities of the Trust to ensure its survival. He congratulated the Trust on its recent initiatives, including the Roadshow events to inform the public of the work of the Trust and the Gardener’s Network, for the professional gardeners who care for our historic landscapes.
