Buckinghamshire Local History Network 25th Conference  – Agriculture

Saturday 5th October

The event will be held on Saturday 5th October at the Methodist Church Hall, Buckingham Street Aylesbury.

The theme for this year (the 25th event) is Food for Thought.

Speakers:

Ruth Goodman, television history presenter, on the role of women in agriculture.

David Noy on farming and food in medieval Winslow

Wendy Morrisson on Grim’s Ditch and historic routes through the Chilterns

Julian Hunt on the impact of enclosure on Buckinghamshire’s landscape

Local History Fair: stands and displays by the county’s history and archaeology societies and organisations
