Main points of policy:
· Members can book a ticket for themselves & up to 2 tickets for non-members/guests
· Price of tickets: we operate a price differentiation with guests paying 25% more
· Cancellations – full refund if BGT cancel
· Cancellation of a booking can be requested up to 7 days prior the event. A refund less the booking fee 6.5% plus VAT will be made to original form of payment.
· Cancellations of less than a week will be noted but refunds at discretion of the Event Organiser
· No refunds will be given on day of the event or retrospectively.

This visit starts at the Memorial Hall in Hedgeley where we will be given a talk by the owner, Rob Cooper, of the Old Keeper’s Cottage.
Described by visitors as ‘a real gardener’s garden’. This is a fairly new 1½ acre garden set around a Grade II listed former brickmaker’s cottage (not open). The garden features borders packed full of perennials, a small meadow, and a small orchard, creating a haven for wildlife, with over 20 different types of butterfly spotted in 2023.
Following the talk members will be able to explore the garden which has narrow paths, so suitable footwear is recommended. A cream tea is included in the cost.
