Gardens Trust member, Patricia Walton, died 23 February 2025.
Pat, with husband John, was a staunch BGT member and had volunteered at Stowe since the Gardens came to the National Trust, Pat later running the National Trust shop before the restoration of the New Inn.
The Stowe House Preservation Trust also benefited from Pat’s experience when Stowe House opened to the public, on a more regular basis, following extensive restoration work.
Buckingham’s annual Music Festival was supported, invaluablely, by both Pat and John, with Pat a valued member of Buckingham’s Citizens Advice Bureau team.
Pat will be greatly missed.
