New Booking and Cancellation Policy for Events

A programme of visits and talks is published each year with details on this Events page.


Members can book through the on-line booking system http://www.ticketsource.co.uk/buckinghamshire-gardens-trust

or by contacting enquiries@buckinghamshiregardentstrust.org.u

Main points of policy:

·        Members can book a ticket for themselves & up to 2 tickets for non-members/guests

·        Price of tickets:  we operate a price differentiation with guests paying 25% more

·        Cancellations  – full refund if BGT cancel

·        Cancellation of a booking can be requested up to 7 days prior the event.  A refund less the booking fee 6.5% plus VAT will be made to original form of payment.

·        Cancellations of less than a week will be noted but refunds at discretion of the Event Organiser

·        No refunds will be given on day of the event or retrospectively.

New Events for September and Beyond

Our Autumn online programme is now available on Eventbrite. This is a great time to browse upcoming talks and book your place on those that appeal or intrigue.

Our Tuesday morning Zoom talks will kick off with a 7-part series on some fabulous World Heritage landscapes, including Blenheim Palace, Studley Royal Park and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Wednesday evenings will focus on stories from Head Gardeners at sites ranging from centuries-old royal palaces on the Thames to a new flower-filled public park in Yorkshire.

October brings our annual Historic Landscape Assembly, which for 2023 will explore the theme of designation, to mark the 40th anniversary of the national Heritage Act and the Register of Parks & Gardens of Special Historic Interest. Join us online or in-person for a one-day conference on 12 October, reviewing the impact of the Register over the past 40 years and discussing its place in heritage conservation for the future.
