
Windsor Great Park is the most popular attraction in Britain and that is official. So if you have not visited for a number of years and it is on the doorstep of Buckinghamshire put it on your list. We know that parks have been in great demand during the pandemic but Windsor Great Park topped the list of Britain’s most visited attractions in 2021, becoming the first outdoor venue to do so, as well as the first one outside London
According to the statistics the Grade 1 listed royal park attracted 5.4 million visitors, almost five times more than second-placed Tate Modern. Outdoor venues, have overall experienced a stronger increase than indoor sites and Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and RHS Wisley are in the top ten. (statistics come from Alva: Association of Leading Visitor Attractions) Amongst its attractions Saville Garden, a wide range of events, concerts, plays and the extensive parkland.
