Lockdown Letters to Horace: Art Installation
In April 2020 Strawberry Hill, invited people to write a letter to Horace Walpole. The trust believed that the art of letter-writing felt more relevant than ever as people try to keep in touch with one another and the humble letter has more meaning than it might have done six months ago.
The Trust invited people to‘write to Horace ’ describing how their community has come together during the past few months. Claire de Carle, Deputy Chair of the Buckinghamshire Gardens Trust was inspired and her letter and others will be on display at Strawberry Hill .
